What do you all make of the new VPN protocol called Lightway (based on wolfSSL)?

It uses around 1,000 lines of code and is essentially a TLS VPN.

Do you trust Lightway yet?

Since it works in the user space, unlike WireGuard (kernel space geometry dash lite), do you think it has the potential to be superior to WireGuard?

No opinion until it becomes open sourced?

Hello Victor,

Welcome to the wolfSSL Forums.

We were excited to see ExpressVPN utilize some of our latest developments, DTLS 1.3 in particular:

And in fact, the lightway-core is open source!

Could you tell us a bit about your project and your location for our support records?

Thanks,
